On Mademoiselle Bon Plan, we share our outings, our trips and the places we discover along the way. Behind these stories there are also invitations, paid collaborations and booking links. Here we explain how it all works, so you know what lies behind the articles and pictures.
Invitations and hosted stays
We receive invitations to discover restaurants, hotels or cultural venues. Some of our trips are also covered, partly or entirely. An invitation can therefore be for a single meal or for a stay of several days.
An invitation does not change our tastes. We describe what we experienced there, with our preferences and any reservations we may have. This view is necessarily personal: a place we love won’t suit everyone.
In the articles we publish today, we state who hosted us and what was covered. If an older post leaves you in doubt, feel free to write to us.
Paid collaborations
We also offer paid posts on social media, and occasionally an article on the blog. The content to be produced is agreed with the partner. Its commercial nature is made clear to readers.
This fee is different from having a stay covered and from commissions on bookings. A single collaboration can combine several of these elements.
Booking links
Some links on the blog are affiliate links. If you use one of them and your booking meets the partner’s conditions, we may receive a commission.
These are mostly booking platforms such as Booking.com, TheFork, GetYourGuide or Civitatis. In the articles, a note flags the selections that contain these links.
This commission is paid by the partner: we don’t charge you anything for using the link. It doesn’t mean the offer is the cheapest on every website. Always compare what matters to you: the final price, what is included and the cancellation options.
You can also read the articles and note down the addresses without using these links. They are a way to support the blog, not an obligation.
Our opinions and practical information
Our favourites reflect our tastes and our experience at the time of the visit. A single stay can’t reveal everything about a place, and things may change afterwards: the team, the prices, the opening hours or even whether a venue is still open.
When we add a place we haven’t visited, we say so: information found elsewhere is no substitute for experiencing it in person.
If some information seems out of date, you can report it under the article concerned or at contact@mademoisellebonplan.fr. Your feedback also helps readers who will plan the same trip after you.
