Spring is a highlight of the Parisian cultural scene, during which Nuit Blanche is an unmissable event. This year, the 2026 edition (the 25th edition) will take place during the night of Saturday, June 6th to Sunday, June 7th. For my part, I will be away from the capital again, but I still wanted to share an article about it this year with my selection of things to see and do.
Titled “the great celebration of love,” this edition was designed as an act of commitment to celebrate gathering, diversity, and the joy of being together. Under the artistic direction of DJ and activist Barbara Butch, an iconic figure of Parisian inclusive and nightlife culture, this anniversary edition of Nuit Blanche 2026 invites everyone to become an active participant in the event. It unfolds through more than 100 free artistic offerings presented by over 5,000 artists invited since the event’s creation. The main route, a truly fluid journey across the capital, is structured around three major axes:
- The Center: from the Hôtel de Ville square to the Marais
- The East: from Gare de l’Est and Gare du Nord towards Stalingrad and the Bassin de la Villette
- The West: from the Petit Palais to the Grand Palais and up to the Fondation Louis Vuitton
- Not forgetting Greater Paris!

Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain
For this 25th edition of Nuit Blanche on Saturday, June 6, 2026, the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain is exceptionally keeping its doors open until midnight. The public is invited to discover or rediscover the “Exposition Générale” and to live an immersive experience through a musical program taking over its auditorium.

For Nuit Blanche, the institution offers an artistic look at our digital lives with “Moi et les autres” (Me and Others). Through a series of installations and interactive works, the exhibition questions the impact of the Internet and social networks on our human relationships. A dreamlike visual reflection on identity, self-image, and otherness in the era of constant connectivity.
