Musicomusée: family concerts at the Jardin des Plantes

Today on the blog, I’m sharing an original, musical family outing at the Jardin des Plantes to discover or rediscover great classical music masterpieces through the museum’s collections and an original tale.

For the second year, the National Museum of Natural History is hosting the Orchestre National de France in a chamber music formation for family concerts at the Jardin des Plantes.

Find storytellers and musicians from the Orchestre National de France on stage, accompanied by a projection on a large screen (45-minute duration). A poetic and creative musical journey!

2 dates and 2 Musicomusée appointments for 2013:

  • The Enchanted Fable: featuring the animals of the Menagerie – Saturday, February 16 – 4 PM (a loose adaptation of Mozart’s The Magic Flute)
  • A spider in the double bass – Saturday, June 8 – 4 PM
