Last June, the young French group Okko Hotels opened its very first 4-star Parisian establishment near Porte de Versailles. The group also has hotels in other French cities: Nantes, Grenoble, Lyon, and Bayonne. This 149-room establishment, which we had the chance to test out, was designed by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte with interior design by Patrick Norguet. I must admit that when I saw where the hotel was located (right next to the ring road), I got a little scared. Mostly because I was terrified of the noise and worried I wouldn’t be able to sleep (and I’m pretty fussy about that)… But actually, it’s quite incredible because the building is exceptionally well-designed in that regard. Once you walk through the hotel doors, you step into a bubble and are completely cut off from the noise—it’s pretty magical, really… I also really loved all the common areas, the desk corner with computers, newspapers, and books available, and the dining space as well, of course.

Our Classic room in collaboration with Laurent-Perrier
To celebrate the hotel’s opening, they created a room dedicated to all their partners: Michel et Augustin, Kalios, Dear Muesli… and Laurent-Perrier. Plus, select Laurent-Perrier champagnes are now also served at the hotel. We really loved this room—simple, stylish, and super functional. So we took a lovely series of photos and “bed-jumping” shots since there was such beautiful lighting when we arrived.
Price: the price for a classic room can range from €109 to €399 depending on the timing (when we went it was €119) + an extra €20 for double occupancy.
The Apéritivo
This innovative service (free for hotel guests!!!!!) is truly one of the brand’s standout features. Indeed, this little aperitif time is not only super friendly and enjoyable, but also ultra convenient and helps save a few bucks. You can choose from a very well-stocked and varied Italian-inspired buffet, and a welcome drink is also offered.
Breakfast
The buffet is very well-stocked and the products are high-quality (just like for the apéritivo), which is greatly appreciated.
