Every holiday brings its share of great deals, fun events, and free activities for the general public. Now, Candlemas is already great because we get to eat pancakes, but on top of that, some brands spoil us for this special occasion.
- Free pancake party workshops with Alinéa
The home decor and furniture stores Alinéa are transforming for Candlemas to host free workshops for two days, dedicated to teaching the youngest ones how to make pancakes…
These workshops will take place on Wednesdays, January 30th and February 6th, 2013 and are accessible to holders of the free Alinéa loyalty card. They are offered throughout France and will allow children under 12, accompanied by an adult, to learn how to make pancakes and then enjoy them on-site. This event is offered between 3:30 PM and 5:00 PM, and each session lasts about 30 minutes. If you want to participate, just sign up here, but don’t wait too long, as the number of available spots is limited.

- Free pancake tasting with Tefal and Franprix
Tefal and Franprix are offering you free pancakes for Candlemas at 6 tasting locations in Paris: Place des Ternes, 17th district; Place de Clichy, 17th district; Porte Maillot, 17th district; Town Hall of the 17th, Town Hall of the 7th, and Town Hall of the 15th, on Saturday, February 2nd, 2013, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
