The start of the school/work year is a highlight of the Parisian cultural scene, during which Nuit Blanche stands out as a must-attend event.
This year, under the artistic direction of José-Manuel Gonçalvès, the 2015 edition will take place on the night of Saturday, October 3rd, from 7 PM until the early hours of the following day.
About fifty artists—including more than thirty international ones—will be involved in this free event dedicated to contemporary art.
This year, the event takes over the north of Paris by spreading across 2 routes:
- from Gare du Nord (10th arrondissement) to Aubervilliers (93)
- from Parc Monceau (8th arrondissement) to the Clichy-Batignolles eco-district, and then beyond the ring road
The programming for the 2015 Nuit Blanche promises some wonderful surprises, with numerous works presented in unexpected places, some of which are usually closed to the public.
Melle Bon Plan’s little Parisian selection:
The Collège des Bernardins
The Collège des Bernardins is partnering this year with La Muse en Circuit to offer a new marathon evening centered around composer François Sarhan.
A psychedelic and Kafkaesque labyrinth, Éphémère Glacé invents a new relationship between the works and the public, following the whims of a musical weather system that defies all barometers, in which each spectator is invited to be the hero of this imaginary dramaturgy, ensuring a certain form of sonic ecology.

Dremel invites the general public to the Gaîté Lyrique
Set up outside on the square, near the café adjacent to the Gaîté Lyrique in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris, the Dremel cargo bike becomes a magical workshop.
Adults and children alike are invited to come and create pretty, original, and unusual jewelry made using the Dremel “Idea Builder” 3D printer. As a bonus, the best part is that everyone leaves with their own personalized piece of jewelry.
