The start of the school year is a major highlight of the Parisian cultural calendar, during which Nuit Blanche stands out as a must-attend event.
This year, under the artistic direction of Jean de Loisy, President of the Palais de Tokyo, the 2016 edition will take place on the night of Saturday, October 1st from 7 PM until the early hours of the next morning.
We will be invited to undergo various trials of self-transformation, in the style of Poliphilo, the hero of this Nuit Blanche who, in a 1546 Italian illustrated novel, dreams his way through a journey in pursuit of Polia, the woman he is madly in love with…

Around fifty artists (including more than thirty international ones) will participate in this free event open to everyone, dedicated to contemporary art, which invites visitors to discover a multitude of artworks in public outdoor spaces.
The programming for the 2016 edition of Nuit Blanche promises beautiful surprises again, with numerous artworks presented in unexpected locations, some of which are usually closed to the public.
This 15th edition embraces the theme of Love, with a 35-work trail from the Hôtel de Ville to the Île aux Cygnes, conceived as a symbolic cartography of the quest for love, all around the Seine and its bridges.
