The end of the year is approaching, and as always at this time, we are desperately looking for original ways to ring in the new year.
Personally, it’s been a long time since I’ve had a New Year’s Eve that left me with a lasting memory. There is so much pressure surrounding this night, which is supposed to be unforgettable, that it often ends up being far from the top 10 (or maybe even 20) best nights of your year…
So, I wanted to look into some original or just unusual ideas to help us dream of a different end to the year.

Here is my dreamy little selection with some great tips and outing ideas for this New Year’s Eve 2015.
A magical New Year’s with the best view of the Eiffel Tower
Maison Pradier, which has taken over the Théâtre du Palais de Chaillot for two years, is organizing a gala dinner at the restaurant “Le Foyer de Chaillot” for New Year’s Eve.
On the menu: foie gras, Parisian-style half-lobster with Avruga pearls, demi-deuil capon with morel cream sauce; roasted goat cheese, a bottle of champagne for 2, and unlimited red and white wine.
Price: €300 per person

Cirkus Clubbing New Year’s Eve 2016
The Cirkus parties offer a burlesque and quirky world, somewhere between clubbing and a Parisian cabaret vibe, in a bold and warm atmosphere that brings together 600 night owls every week.
The great tip: entry is free for girls before 12:30 AM; for others, it’s €10.

The #SuperUBER operation
#SuperUBER is the operation that will save our January 1st. After a festive New Year’s Eve, Uber comes to the rescue of its users and helps them start the year off on the right foot.
On January 1st from 11 AM to 4 PM, Parisian Uber users (and those in the nearby suburbs) can connect to the app and order for free, using the Super Uber button, one of the offered services, which is very useful after a night of heavy partying, all accompanied by a breakfast for 2 provided by Fauchon.
The services:
- Free dry cleaning for your December 31st outfits by Cleanio
- 1 hour of house cleaning provided by Hoper
- 30 minutes of relaxation provided by Spearit

Enjoy free public transport in Paris all New Year’s Eve night!
Like every year, the RATP offers its little year-end gift to all its users for New Year’s Eve by letting them travel for free all night long on subways, buses, trains, and RERs from December 31, 5 PM to January 1, 12 PM.
A practical and nice tip to get around all night and make the most of this beautiful evening.
Like on holidays, the entire subway network is open until 2:15 AM, and for night owls, 6 subway lines (lines 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, and 14) will be partially running from 2:15 AM to 5:30 AM.
Trains (lines H, J, L, N, and P) and RERs (lines A, B, C, D) will stop at all stations that night. The night bus service, Noctilien, will be running at full capacity from 12:30 AM to 5:30 AM.
All information on schedules and lines operating is on the RATP website.
