This Sunday, March 2, 2014, we celebrate our grandmas for Great-Grandmothers’ Day,
On this day of celebration and intergenerational sharing, the I Love My Grandma movement is resuming its crusade for the positive “Grandma attitude”!
On the program for this festive Sunday:
- 11:30 AM: The Mamif’, a short and festive march intended to celebrate grandmothers. Come and wave your “I Love My Grandma” signs or your own banners! Meet at 11:30 AM in front of the 4th arrondissement town hall in Paris, Place Baudoyer.
- 12 PM – 8 PM: A new event focused on intergenerational exchange: the great Troc’n’roll at the Espace d’Animation des Blancs Manteaux (48 rue Vieille du Temple 75004 Paris)!
The goal of this event is to exchange skills, tips, and tricks in various fields (Food, Fashion, Beauty, Daily Life, Decor, Dance…). Each area will be hosted by spokespeople who are specialists in their field. I will actually be present myself in one of the areas as a specialist… in great deals, obviously!
There will also be many trendy and fashionable activities and a main highlight at 2 PM with the Troc Party to revamp your wardrobe!
During this great Troc’n’Roll, supported by the Paris City Hall, Café Grand’Mère will also organize a fun and quirky “family photo” Shooting with the specialist of the genre, Olivier Boulet.
This will be the occasion for a fun family photo where everyone can have a good time digging into Grandma’s trunk: boas, glasses, hats… so many unusual accessories that will spice up this moment of family bonding even more.
Families present at the Troc’N’Roll event will be able to try and win their family photo on the spot!
As for me, I look forward to seeing you this Sunday at the Espace d’Animation des Blancs Manteaux at my little stand; it will be a chance to get to know each other and exchange a few great deals!
