From time to time, I head back to my hometown of Lyon, and my Parisian habits catch up with me, so I go looking for brunch spots to try (yes, I know, old habits die hard…).
So, I am going to share a great address for the wonderful sport known as the weekend brunch activity (a sport practiced primarily with a team of good girlfriends), which I discovered quite recently in the capital of the Gauls (I clearly have a particular attraction to capitals)…
It’s just a few streets away from the beautiful Museum of Fabrics and Decorative Arts in Lyon (which I know very well) that you will find Little Petits Gâteaux, a shop that is as girly as can be, known for its cupcakes, but not only…
You can enjoy a nice (and affordable) brunch here on Saturdays and Sundays for €14.90.
On the menu: fruit juice in a bottle; hot drink of your choice; a tart of the day accompanied by a salad or homemade soup (mine was delicious!); an all-you-can-eat sweet buffet (with muffins, bread, spreads, and homemade scones).
In short, a very nice address, with a cozy little corner featuring sofas and armchairs upstairs in the shop, to be tested with the cupcakes that I didn’t have the opportunity to taste, during my next visit to Lyon.
Happy brunch everyone!
