Spring is finally here, synonymous with rays of sunshine and longer days… But also with sweet floral scents in the air. It’s the perfect season for dreaming, strolling, and shopping! Shopping smart, that goes without saying. This month in My Fashion Tips, we’ll talk about jewelry, artisanally crafted in France, with brands such as Batucada, Tonnerre de Belt, and creations by Anne Kristin Becker.
We will also talk Fashion, with a recent exhibition I discovered retracing the history of Jean Doucet‘s creations, or even the Fashion Weeks by Bonprix and the bags from La Museuse.

Jean Doucet – 30 years of creations celebrated at the Grand Palais
As part of the Salon des Artistes Français held last February at the Grand Palais, I had the chance to admire the sublime exhibition dedicated to Jean Doucet.
Indeed, this fashion genius has been working for 30 years in the pure artisanal tradition and respecting artistic crafts. The talented designer emphasizes bespoke work and the choice of noble materials (satin, taffeta, organza…).
His creations are always imbued with magic, charm, and beauty. His expertise is the most poetic expression of delicacy. Also on display were the photographs by Afsaneh Afkhami (honorary medalist of the photography section), representing Opera dancers wearing the couturier’s creations with grace.

Maud Fourier Paris, Parisian accessories that blend cultures
Discovered during the last Estorysummer evening organized by E-parisiennes, the Maud Fourier Paris creations sparked excitement among most of the bloggers present, including Gaëlle – Mademoiselle Bon Plan and myself. Inspired by her travels and drawing on her experience in major fashion houses such as Sonia Rykiel and Yves Saint Laurent, Maud Fourier created her own eponymous accessory brand in 2016.
Parisian accessories that blend cultures, unique, eco-friendly pieces, Made in France. Mademoiselle Bon Plan is over the moon to have won this lovely clutch during the event.
The Tip: Maud Fourier Paris offers beautiful beach baskets, starting at €35 for the small models. The ideal accessory to stroll the beach in style.

Bonprix Fashion Weeks
Bonprix organizes a Fashion Weeks campaign every week on their website, highlighting different themes and styles. This week, for example, the theme is Absolute Femininity, with a selection of associated products and, of course, promotions. A little recurring fashion tip to keep in mind…

Dalida, a wardrobe from the city to the stage at the Palais Galliera
Moving and passionate, Dalida remains an immensely popular star. The Palais Galliera is paying tribute to her by exhibiting her wardrobe, thanks to a recent donation made by her brother Orlando. An exceptional exhibition as it brings together 209 outfits and iconic accessories of this singer so adored by the public.
A woman’s wardrobe is a diary where secrets and revelations coexist freely…
This exhibition is absolutely exceptional and you can admire it until August 13th.

La Museuse
La Museuse has launched an entire collection, made in France, of shopping bags, leisure bags, and customizable tote bags.
On the agenda: multiple styles, wax, liberty, eighties… according to everyone’s desires and style…
My choice: the Dragonfly bag / €34
The tip: with the bag, you also receive a small explanatory leaflet on “How to fold your La Museuse bag?” so you can put it in your handbag without it taking up space.
