Of course, we love them the rest of the year too, but this day is a chance for a little extra special attention, which, let’s be honest, is always appreciated. For Mother’s Day, the Maison Puyricard, an iconic chocolate artisan from Provence that I have already told you about on the blog, is offering a gourmet and elegant floral collection. Astral Chocolaterie Mother’s Day Collection
This artisanal chocolatier, located in their shop/laboratory in the heart of Lille, offers a lovely collection for Mother’s Day. Christian and Mathieu’s chocolaterie presents a wide selection of chocolate bars to offer a tasting journey around cocoa. In fact, last year on my Instagram account, I even hosted a giveaway for a chance to win a lovely chocolate prize.

Pâtisserie de Saison is one of the institutions of Asian pastry in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. Today, I invite you to discover one of their special Mother’s Day cakes! It is a cake made of sponge and fruit (we chose strawberry, but it’s possible to have it in other flavors like mango, pineapple, or even chocolate, when ordering). And you can indeed personalize your cake as you wish!

The Mother’s Day range from Les Belles Envies
I have already told you about this Parisian pastry shop that offers cakes, chocolates, and biscuits with a low sugar content. It uses ancient, fiber-rich flours with a low glycemic index, such as lupin flour, coconut flour, as well as T80 semi-whole wheat flour. Their creations have a glycemic index of less than 30, which represents a decrease of about 60% compared to that of an ordinary pastry. They also have an igc® certification: Controlled Glycemic Index.
For Mother’s Day, Les Belles Envies is offering a few treats with a controlled glycemic index, such as:
- this chocolate flower with an almond-hazelnut praline and milk chocolate rocher base, dark chocolate coating, and white chocolate decorations (€7 / only available on June 2, 3, and 4)

Nicolas Paciello unveils “Coeur de maman”
This year, pastry chef Nicolas Paciello has imagined a creation for Mother’s Day entitled “Coeur de maman” (Mom’s Heart). Inspired by his childhood memories, this dessert combines the sweetness of strawberry with the freshness of bergamot, with a light vanilla mousse, a soft almond biscuit, and a crunchy almond-speculoos base. Dressed in red and pink, Coeur de maman will be available in stores starting May 21, 2025 (price for 8-person format: €59).
