Cap Breton, the modern version of a crêperie

Today on the blog, I’m taking you to discover a modern crêperie that I was invited to test recently, and I’ve realized this is my first crêpe recommendation in this “good addresses” section. It’s actually quite incredible, given that I love this culinary specialty…

This second and new location of the Cap Breton crêperie is a modern, refreshed take on a type of establishment that is very popular among the French, but sometimes has a slightly outdated atmosphere.

The establishment is truly designed for busy Parisians looking for a great spot for a quick lunch. The restaurant is set up like a self-service area downstairs where you place your crêpe orders (there’s even an iPad for quick takeaway orders), then you go and settle in with your tray at a table while waiting for your order to arrive.

Overall, the space is quite large as it benefits from an upper floor and a few tables downstairs as well.

As for the set menus, they vary between €12 and €17.50 (including 1 savory crêpe, 1 sweet crêpe, a side salad, and a drink). The galettes are of very high quality and the choice of toppings is quite nice.

For dessert, I recommend trying the delicious homemade frozen yogurt (4€) during the summer. Plus, you can add various toppings: Breton shortbread crumbles, shredded coconut, speculoos, pistachio bits, Nutella, almonds, mini Smarties, strawberries or bananas, honey, salted butter caramel, chocolate, and more…
