My favorite festive restaurants in Paris

by Melle Bon Plan
Published: Updated:

Today on the blog, I’m introducing you to several nightlife spots in Paris for an extraordinary evening at some festive restaurants. These establishments feature both a bar and a restaurant, allowing you to wrap up your night by dancing to the rhythm of the music. Yet, they all offer completely different vibes. I promise, each one will transport you far away from your daily routine in its own unique way!

We went to discover this must-visit spot in Parisian nightlife with my favorite photographer in November 2025, following its reopening after 2 months of renovations. The venue, which has existed for over 20 years, has been completely refurbished with a new chic baroque decor. Upon arrival, you’ll find the bar and dining room on the ground floor where you can have dinner, and then from 11 PM, the atmosphere lights up and warms up (both literally and figuratively) as the club section opens in the basement, making room for partying and dancing for music lovers. A friendly and lively spot to party that keeps the festive, gourmet, and carefree spirit that made it a success.

Le Pachamama, Paris

This Parisian dinner-club opened at the end of 2017 (formerly Barrio Latino) is located right next to Bastille in a historic 19th-century building with Eiffel architecture. The spirit of the place transports us to South America, with references to Latin traditions, but also evocations of a colonial past, all mixed with the myths and sacred symbols of a more esoteric world. The establishment is multifaceted, offering a restaurant, a cocktail bar, and a club for dancing until the end of the night. It is also huge with its 3,000 m2 of space spread over 3 floors. Its enchanting decor makes it the perfect place for a change of scenery in a bohemian universe that makes you feel like you are traveling without leaving the capital. I also loved the vintage pieces scattered throughout the establishment that you never tire of admiring (well, personally, I do!).

The restaurant of the establishment, La Cantina, is located on the 1st floor and overlooks the dance floor. On the plates, you will find Latin American specialties. After dinner, the evening ends on the dancefloor on the ground floor, to fiery rhythms.

To taste: the Kalamata Sea Bass Ceviche (€16); the organic poached egg (€14); the scallops with lemongrass (€28); the lime/raspberry tartlet (€11).

Cocktail prices: between €9 and €14

Roxie Paris, dining hall and live music (closed)

At Roxie, we dive into the ambiance of a 1920s Chicago jazz club. It is a true journey through time that unfolds when you pass through the doors of the establishment in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. Dim lighting and red tones recall the sultry era of the American prohibition. On site, Version Originale, the establishment’s live band, interprets the greatest classics from the 50s to today to make us dance all night (or almost). And during the meal, you can also listen to the live show of an artist performing on the central stage below. The venue obviously offers a high-quality cocktail bar with house creations with evocative names: Ginger Rogers, Shirley Temple, Charlie Chaplin… On the plate side, you enjoy French cuisine with hints of American inspiration, with 100% homemade dishes using noble and fresh ingredients.

When you look at the prices of the dishes, it may seem a bit high, but you have to keep in mind that the live show by the musicians is also included in the price of the meal in the end. In short, a beautiful place for a special evening with a Music Hall feel, which I recommend booking for a particular occasion.

To taste:

  • For appetizers, we tasted the marinated sea bass tartare (€22) and the broken egg with black truffles (€22).
  • For main courses, it was the prime Angus Kansas USA rump steak fillet with its teriyaki sauce (€42) and the Spicy Pasta Lobster (€32).
  • And for dessert, a passion fruit meringue (€16).

Cocktail prices: between €15 and €20

Ora, the festive vegetarian canteen at La Caserne

Tonight, I’m taking you to the most lively vegetarian restaurant in Paris, Ora, which is located in the heart of La Caserne (a former fire station), a mecca for fashion and eco-responsible living in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. The venue transforms according to the time of day, and we went in the evening to immerse ourselves in the festive atmosphere of the restaurant’s second service at 10:15 PM.

On the agenda for this evening, a fiery atmosphere with a unique vegetarian menu at €52 in the evening, which changes according to the seasons and is served directly like a show on parchment paper placed right on the table, orchestrated masterfully by Chef Saayaan. All accompanied by the house’s delicious cocktails. This supercharged 2nd service is clearly an experience to be had with live music, and people finish their meal by dancing on their chairs or even directly on the table! It is therefore the perfect place for a memorable evening and an unusual dinner that breaks off the beaten path.
