The B and the M in the brand’s name stand for “Better Burgers.” The first B&M Burger location opened in Oberkampf 4 years ago, and the second opened in Montmartre last year.
As for us, we headed to Oberkampf (more convenient for us) with our favorite photographer to discover and test out this establishment.
All ingredients are fresh, the beef is French, and the buns are made with potato flakes, which give them a slight sweetness.
To try:
- At B&M, you compose your own burger starting with a base (between €7.10 and €9.40) to which you add toppings (lettuce, tomato, pickles, mushrooms, chili, onion,…) and sauces (try the B&M house sauce) as much as you like, all included in the price of the base + some slightly more original extras (avocado, Auvergne blue cheese, arugula, goat cheese,…) (between €0.65 and €1.40).
What’s fun is that to compose your custom burger, you fill out a small sheet where you check all your choices (which is super practical).
So basically, a simple burger will cost you €7.10, and if you add all the ingredients in the restaurant, you will barely reach €12, which remains a very affordable price for burgers of this quality.
- As a side, the homemade fries (€3 or €4.95) are very good, and for the big eaters, you can try the version with melted cheddar (€4.30 or €7.45).
- If you don’t feel like a creator, you can also order a pre-composed burger: we tested the BBQ burger (€9.95) with bacon, Auvergne blue cheese, BBQ sauce, mushrooms, pickles, and caramelized onions.
- For drinks, the establishment has some lovely craft beers (between €4.50 and €6.50) that I advise you to try!
