There are places like this that make you dream… The Grand Hôtel du Palais Royal is one of those prestigious establishments that always make my eyes light up whenever I step through their doors.
I had already had the opportunity to spend a few evenings there and also take photos on the beautiful central staircase for an Instagram contest I held for you this summer, and today on the blog, I’m introducing you to the hotel’s restaurant, Le Lulli.

In the kitchen, we find Jean-Baptiste Orieux, a young chef who spent 12 years at the Hôtel Fouquet’s Barrière before arriving at Le Lulli. He offers balanced and refined traditional seasonal cuisine, featuring high-quality ingredients selected for their properties.
Below are some photos and the description of the meal we enjoyed this summer (so please note, the menu has certainly changed since then).

To taste:
- To start the meal, a small amuse-bouche from the chef that obviously changes according to the chef’s inspiration and the season.

- As a starter, we tested the almond-breaded Crottin de Chavignol cheese with a mix of young sprouts (see the daily menu at the end of the article) and the delicious sea bream ceviche with lime and grilled avocado (€27).

- Below on the left, the dish from the daily menu, a pan-seared white tuna with a vegetable wok and teriyaki sauce.

- Here, a red mullet fillet with a fine tart of candied tomatoes, basil-scented buffalo mozzarella, and a stuffed zucchini flower (€36).

- Still on the fish side (this shows there is a wide selection centered around this product in this restaurant), below is the marinated Label Rouge salmon back with mini vegetables and tetragonia sprouts (€28).

- For dessert, super light but delicious: the mango and calamansi soup scented with coconut and lime (€13).

- As for wines, the establishment obviously has a very nice selection of bottles and also wines by the glass that I recommend you try.

The tip: the daily menu at lunch with 2 dishes for €29 or 3 dishes for €38
