Another Sunday, another brunch test in Paris. This time, along with Petite Parisienne and two other brunch enthusiasts, we set up shop at the Café du Rendez-Vous in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, right on the corner of Place Denfert-Rochereau. First of all, a big plus: this brunch is also served on Saturdays (which isn’t always the case).
As for the food, this brunch is truly hearty and of good quality. A special mention for their hot chocolate, which you dose yourself, and for their scrambled eggs, which were simply delicious. As for the setting, I really liked the cozy vibe of the place with its large red booths, all set within a beautiful Parisian brasserie decor. Not to mention that the price of the brunch, €24, is quite reasonable and the service is pleasantly friendly. In short, an address I recommend if you like to indulge in that quintessential Parisian Sunday sport: brunch. Happy Sunday, everyone.
