Here is a new article to add to my “Brunch” section, and this time I’ve put together a selection of several original brunches that I tested recently in Paris. On the menu: some “international” brunches with a German brunch, a Korean brunch, a Greek brunch, and finally a creative brunch inspired by different world cuisines. And of course, I will keep adding to this article as I make new discoveries!

Where to get a Latin brunch?
Isana
Isana is the name of a river that flows between Colombia and Brazil. At this spot, you’ll find Latin cuisine, and on Sundays, the venue offers an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet in two sittings. The place is small, but the atmosphere is warm, friendly, and colorful. And as a little bonus, we tasted plenty of dishes we didn’t know at all. On the counter, you’ll find a mix of specialties from different Latin American countries, such as Colombian pandebonos (little buns made with cassava flour and cheese), Mexican hummus, quinoa (Peru) and legume (Mexico) salads, the soup of the moment, the causa of the day, cakes, granola, and desserts of the moment.

Today I’m taking you to the 10th arrondissement of Paris to discover an authentic Lebanese restaurant: Afendi! Every weekend, the restaurant offers a Lebanese brunch with an all-you-can-eat savory buffet and a sweet buffet + a dish of your choice. It’s super hearty and you’ll find plenty of Lebanese specialties like labneh, hummus, eggplant caviar, falafel, Lebanese-style white bean salad, grape leaves, and also turnovers filled with meat, cheese, or vegetables. This brunch is offered at the price of 34€ per person.

Noura Opéra
Since 2025, Noura Opéra has been offering a kids-friendly brunch with an all-you-can-eat buffet, as well as spaces and activities for children (drawing, board games, a magician…) in the heart of Paris, every Sunday. Saj bread, a Lebanese specialty, is at the heart of this brunch: it’s a thin, round bread cooked on a hot plate, served plain or topped with mini pizzas with thyme, cheese, or meat. The buffet also includes cold and hot mezzes, salads, traditional breads, pastries, hot drinks, juices, as well as oriental desserts and seasonal fruits, offering a very wide selection. Unfortunately, it’s quite hard to taste everything, so you’ll have to come back! And as a bonus, the brunch also offers daily specials to order in addition to the buffet.

Where to get a German brunch?
Wunderbär
Located right next to République, this spot is the temple of German street food in Paris, and since February of this year, the establishment has been offering a German brunch on Sunday lunchtimes.
The Sunday brunch menu:
- one of the essential German Wursts (German sausages), I recommend trying the käsekrainer stuffed with cheese or the small bratwurst with marjoram, a specialty of the city of Nuremberg; for vegetarians, there is also a choice of open-faced sandwiches
- a pretzel of your choice
- Wunderbär-style potatoes with vinaigrette
- a hot drink of your choice
A small a-la-carte selection to enhance the brunch:
- a kiwi juice (4 €) for the detox side of the brunch (yes, well, we do what we can…)
- the essential apple strudel with whipped cream for dessert (4 €)

Where to get a Greek brunch?
Le Laurier par Mavrommatis
The Laurier Mavrommatis restaurant (I have already told you about this iconic name in Greek gastronomy in Paris in a dedicated article) is located in the heart of the Galeries Lafayette Champs-Élysées in Paris. The venue launched its 45 € Greek brunch in 2022, featuring a selection of Greek mezzes as a starter (you have vegetable croquettes, grape leaves stuffed with rice, eggplant caviar, or even hummus), you also get a dish of your choice (I recommend the lamb skewers which are delicious), and for dessert, don’t miss the sheep’s milk yogurt with organic Cretan honey.
The 45 € brunch menu:
- assortment of mezzes: dolmades, hummus, tzatziki, eggplant caviar, ktipiti
- halloumotes and eliotes
- hot dish of your choice (moussaka, skewers from the rotisserie, or cod)
- dessert of your choice (sheep’s milk yogurt or PDO Aegina pistachio macaron)

Where to get an Asian brunch?
Maison Jenny
This little spot in the Asian quarter offers a brunch menu every day of the week! The atmosphere is cozy and girly, and as for the food, you’ll find classic brunch items (avocado toast, pancakes, savory croissants, eggs, and sides) but with an Asian twist. A very nice address if you want to have brunch in the 13th arrondissement!

Foodi Jia Ba Buay: Taiwanese Brunch
Foodi Jia Ba Buay, one of the first Taiwanese restaurants in Paris, founded by Virginia Chuang, a pioneer of Taiwanese cuisine in the capital. You’ll find a lovely tea menu, offering a very high-quality selection, including teas imported directly from Taiwan. As for brunch, it is served only on Saturday lunchtimes and comes in two options: one for €24 with 3 Dim Sum of your choice and another for €30 that includes a dessert.
We tasted the Taiwanese scallion egg pancakes and the pork belly Gua bao which is wonderfully melt-in-the-mouth. I also recommend you try the scallion and wild garlic tomme pancake, a super indulgent Franco-Taiwanese fusion dish. And obviously, you can’t skip the pork and ginger wontons with their little spicy sauce—a real treat. For dessert, don’t miss the black sesame cheesecake, which I absolutely loved.

La Bibimerie: Korean Brunch
Located a stone’s throw from the trendy Château d’Eau district, this cozy and friendly restaurant takes you on a trip to Korea for the duration of a meal… À la carte: the famous “bibimbaps”, those typical Korean bowls revisited with a French twist, made with white rice, vegetables, meat (chicken, beef), fish, or other vegetable protein sources.
And on weekends, the establishment offers a very affordable brunch menu with:
- a choice of mini M’Bap from those on the menu
- two banchan of your choice (Korean appetizers to share, “tapas-style,” so if you come with others, I advise you all to pick different things)
- a cold drink (I suggest you try the Korean aloe vera juice or the homemade lemon tea)
- a hot drink (I suggest you try the teas if you are a fan of this beverage)
- a mochi of your choice
- a dessert of your choice (you absolutely must try the waffles, especially the “bubble” waffles which are very original !!!)

Where to get an American brunch?
Coffee Parisien
What’s wonderful about Paris is that even after 15 years of scouring every single address in the city (or almost…), I’m still discovering institutions I didn’t know about… That was the case when one Sunday we went for brunch with the favorite photographer at one of the Parisian spots for an American-style brunch, at Coffee Parisien (which actually has several locations in the capital). The establishment doesn’t offer a “brunch menu” per se, but you can select several plates to put one together, and it’s generally very crowded… Even in summer… The chain’s other addresses are located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, in Neuilly-sur-Seine, and there is also the Coffee Club, on rue d’Assas, still in the 6th arrondissement.
To taste:
- Freshly pressed juices from the Juice Bar (€6.50), we tried the Green (apple, cucumber, lemon, and fresh mint) and the Honey Berry (strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, apple, honey, and mint).
- For a main dish, I tested one of their new items, in the Eggs section (which are organic, by the way!), the Veggie Benedict (€15.50), eggs benedict but with grilled mushrooms and spinach; it was very good!
- The man in the hat, having a sudden craving for meat, set his sights on the steak & eggs (€16.50), a BBQ-grilled heart of rumsteak topped with an organic sunny-side-up egg, all accompanied, like mine, by hash browns (a type of potato patty).
- For dessert, we were feeling greedy and tested the waffles with Canadian maple syrup (€8.50), and we also grabbed a small (that’s an understatement!) cookies-and-cream milkshake (€8.50).
The little extra: a few tables outside for sunny days, which form a small terrace on this street, which is very quiet in terms of traffic, which is always nice.

Cocoricains
This 100% Franco-American address belongs to the Franco-American duo Chris Geraghty and Grégoire Pouletty, who wanted to recreate the spirit of US classics at home and at the restaurant with an authentically American atmosphere inspired by the legendary diners of Massachusetts. I had already told you about it in my article on my selection of good American addresses in Paris.
The restaurant offers an ultra-generous Sunday Brunch every Sunday: fluffy pancakes, poached farm eggs, beechwood-smoked bacon, chicken tenders, cheesecake… Not to mention the house specialty, the Tatin banana bread. And once a month, it’s time for the famous Drag Brunch, super fun and ultra-popular in California (which we unfortunately haven’t had the chance to test yet…) !

Creative brunch, global inspiration at restaurant Maguey
I had already tested the restaurant Maguey back in 2015 (my article from that time is right here) and I was therefore thrilled to return to this beautiful establishment located next to the Gare de Lyon to discover the cuisine of the new chef (since October 2018), Javier Oliva, who is of Argentine origin.
The venue also offers a brunch on Saturday lunchtimes only (as the restaurant is closed on Sundays) with a set menu featuring:
- brioche, butter, homemade jam, and a fresh juice
- two small starters of the day: a spelt risotto with smoked spinach and a carrot soup with goat cheese
- a main course of your choice: rib steak and parsnip cream or cod with celery cream and virgin lemon sauce
- dessert of the day: banana sponge cake, caramel, and blackberry
- a hot drink of your choice

Thank you to restaurant Maguey for this invitation.
