In this article, you will find my top recommendations for Korean restaurants in Paris. This is a small selection of the restaurants I’ve had the chance to try in the capital, as I find this cuisine truly exotic and flavorful. For a long time, I’ve had a special attraction to Korea, a country of both tradition and daring, whether through its cinema, which I really enjoy, or its gastronomy. Obviously, as always, this guide is by no means exhaustive, and I highly encourage (or even urge!) you to leave your own favorite spots in the comments. I naturally update this article regularly to add new addresses I try over the years.
If you are looking for information on other Asian cuisines in Paris, I also have articles on my favorite Japanese restaurants or on Thai restaurants!

Hallyu Kitchen
A personal favorite for this spot that successfully mixes Korean cuisine with a Parisian neighborhood bistro vibe, complete with sleek decor inspired by the streets of Seoul. In the dishes, the blend is also a success, and we particularly enjoyed the house specialty, the Ssam, a widespread way of eating grilled meat in Korea. I also recommend you try their cocktails and mocktails, which are highly original and served with a Korean twist!
We tasted : for appetizers, we tried the buchujeon, a type of pancake with garlic chives and squid (€12.50) which was delicious; their S-size fried chicken (€8.50), made to order and super crispy; as well as the k-egg mayo, eggs marinated in soy sauce, served with gochujang cheddar mayo (€5). For the main course, we tested the Ssam with beef bulgogi (which I recommend very, very highly – €19) and also with spicy chicken (€18). For dessert, we had the bukumi (€5), a mochi dough waffle filled with chocolate spread, and the black sesame crème brûlée (€9).

Krispy Korean Chicken
This restaurant located in the 17th near Place de Clichy, offers you to discover Korean street-food. It specializes in Korean crispy fried chicken, 100% homemade with high-quality ingredients (which makes all the difference!) and I must say it is the best I have eaten in Paris so far! The story of the address began with a food truck in 2019 and then the opening in 2023 of the first permanent restaurant in the 17th arrondissement.
I recommend you get a sharing menu if you come with others so you can taste the chicken marinated in several different sauces that are delicious, in either spicy or non-spicy versions (pepper, traditional with Korean chili, sojail with soy and garlic, barbecue…). To accompany all this, you must have a light Korean beer (€5 or €6), and if you don’t drink alcohol, I recommend their homemade iced tea (€5), which is very good and not too sweet, or try the Korean soft drinks. For dessert, don’t miss the hotteok, a crispy pancake filled with nuts and cinnamon made to order on site; it’s a staple of Korean street food (price €6). Otherwise, the house also has very good seasonal desserts (€4) that rotate, such as homemade cookies or matcha tiramisu.

This little Korean canteen is located near the Opéra district in Paris. It offers very nice set menus that allow you to taste several specialties: kimbaps (between €12 and €15), a type of Korean maki; toppokis (€15), small rice cakes pan-fried in a sweet and spicy sauce; Korean-style dakgangjeong fried chicken (€15 for 10 pieces); Korean fried tuiguim fritters (€15); for dessert, mochis (€4)… And I also recommend you test the house’s non-alcoholic signature drinks (€8), which are very good!

Séoul Mama
This Korean canteen has two locations in Paris, a first address opened in the 15th arrondissement and another very close to the Luxembourg Gardens. I’ve had the opportunity to try both addresses, by the way. On the menu, there are main dishes like DupBap (bowl of rice with sautéed vegetables, an egg yolk, and meat or tofu and avocado of your choice) and Korean Curry slightly spicy, also with sautéed vegetables, rice, and fried lotus root with your choice of beef bulgogi, spicy pork, chicken, or tofu and avocado. For small dishes, I also recommend trying the Mi Mandu, homemade Korean dumplings that are truly delicious (€10.50). For dessert, we obviously tried the matcha tiramisu (€8).

Hite Family
This Korean restaurant located not far from the grands boulevards, invites you to discover a korean chimaek from South Korea, a place to drink, and eat, a concept that combines the conviviality of a bar, with quality dishes, to eat alone but above all to share.
To taste : the korean fried chicken, farm-raised fried chicken with a crispy breading coated in Korean sauces such as yangnyeom chicken, with a sweet and slightly spicy taste (choice between 5 pieces and 36 pieces for large groups and prices between €10 and €55); japchae, sweet potato vermicelli with vegetables (€9); fried mandu, Korean fried chicken and vegetable dumplings (€7 for 5 pieces); kimchi bokkeumbap, fried rice with fermented cabbage kimchi, served with a fried egg and your choice of meat (€16); to accompany all this, the address offers a selection of Korean beers by the bottle (between €6 and €7).

Sweetea’s Paris
This Korean brand has two locations in Paris, but for our part, we tested the 13th arrondissement address which is not far from our home. We really liked the design and the curves of the place. The establishment offers Korean fusion cuisine, a bit on the “porn food” side. As an appetizer to share, we took the kimchi cheese pancake, which we loved; it is a pancake with kimchi and mozzarella (€11). We also tested their fried chicken and also a dish that I found quite strange, the fish cake soup, a fish paste soup (€15). For drinks, I recommend you try the homemade lemonades (€5).
Finally, as a main dish to share, we tested the cheese Bulgogi (€33), marinated beef with mozzarella, leeks, kimchi, mushrooms, onions, chives, and especially a lot of cheese. Verdict: we weren’t super excited by the dish, which we found too greasy and a bit sickening… Conclusion: we really fell in love with the decor of the place, but we will come back to try perhaps another dish, because that one didn’t convince us.

Bekseju Village
The Bekseju Village restaurant in Paris, located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, not far from my home. This establishment is actually the French showcase for the Bekseju alcohol brand, the number one drink in South Korea. It is a wine brewed from rice and twelve secret spices, very mild, which is drunk cool, or even iced, in small glasses, and which pairs perfectly with Korean gastronomy.
