The Paris Beer Week, a festival of craft beer

The Paris Beer Week will be held this year in Paris from May 24 to June 1, 2014, in more than 20 locations across the Île-de-France region, with about fifteen of them in Paris.

On the program: a homebrewing competition, public brewing sessions, tastings in the presence of brewers, gourmet evenings, themed conferences and workshops, reports, and documentaries…

In short, a series of unique events and over 1000 different beers to discover! And to close out this week of celebration, a full day dedicated to craft beer in co-production with Café A on May 31.

On this occasion, on Saturday, May 31 from 6 PM to 9 PM, at the Frog & Rosbif on Rue Saint-Denis in Paris (the very place where Paul Chantler, a “craft” beer enthusiast and founder of FrogPubs, brewed his very first pint just 21 years ago), FrogPubs will actually hand over (for the first and only time in its history) its taps to six guest micro-breweries.

This “Take over our taps” event aims to promote and support the revival of Parisian micro-breweries. For them, it is an opportunity for visibility to the general public, as only the beers from these micro-breweries will be on sale that evening.

These micro-breweries (including Outland, Deck & Donohue, Goutte d’Or, Grand Paris) will be able to have their beer tested and sold (until their kegs run dry) to a large audience in this Parisian beer institution.

For its part, FrogPubs is also a pioneer in craft beer in Paris, as it already has a range of house beers, which includes six original beers (Frog Natural Blonde, Maison Blanche, Ginger Twist, Parislytic, Inseine, Dark de Triomphe).

FrogPubs is also launching its first limited-edition beer collection: the Superhero Series, consisting of six beers made with American hops, the 3rd of which, Wham!, will be released this coming June.
