Mamie burger is a very good Parisian establishment for enjoying delicious burgers in a rockabilly-themed atmosphere, and a third location has just opened its doors near the Grands Boulevards (the first one being located on rue Saint Fiacre and the second near Opéra).
I had actually already mentioned this great spot that I really like in my little Parisian burger guide.
The quality of the products (100% Aubrac French beef) and the friendliness of the welcome are still on point at this third location, with the added benefit of a larger space in a bistro-style setting, so you can enjoy your burger in complete peace and take your time.
And it’s true that Mamie’s burgers are really worth the detour; they might even be my favorites in Paris…
This new address also offers some new additions like various meats, cheese boards, charcuterie, and delicious desserts…
We tested:
- the “Neveu fermier” (Farmer Nephew) with Saint Nectaire cheese, grilled bacon, and old-fashioned mustard sauce, served with sweet potato fries
- the “Gringo” with avocados, fried onions, cheddar, pickles, served with Mamie fries
- We also tested the Mamie dessert for you (brownie, vanilla ice cream, chocolate ice cream, whipped cream, caramel sauce – €5.50) and we admit we had a little trouble finishing it… I personally preferred to go for the Oreo milkshake (€5), which is a more reasonable size.
The tip: the speed of the service, which is always impeccable, and the feeling that you can really take your time without anyone pushing you, more or less subtly, towards the exit…
Must-try: with your burger, I recommend trying the Brooklyn beer, it’s very nice.
The price: menus at €12, €14, and €16 / burger prices between €9 and €10.50
