Today on the blog, I’m introducing a new hotel brunch, and it’s even in my neighborhood (which is rare enough to be noted)! This is perfect because I know how much this brunch section is appreciated, and I find that I sometimes lack addresses when people ask me for recommendations…
The Coq Hôtel, a lovely 4-star boutique hotel, is located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, right next to Place d’Italie (basically in my neck of the woods…).

The establishment offers a “made in France” brunch buffet every weekend with 2 seatings (11:30 AM and 2:00 PM). I highly recommend booking in advance before going, as there is little chance of finding space at the last minute…
I really liked the decor of the place, with the little glass roof in the back of the establishment, the jungle-like, vintage, and even “cabinet of curiosities” atmosphere of the place.

The brunch itself, which is presented as a buffet, tries to highlight quality products from French craftsmanship as much as possible.

The must-have is obviously the eggs, which are well-represented in this brunch. For our part, we tested the soft-boiled eggs, which were perfectly prepared (it had actually been a very long time since I’d had one)! The stuffed hen in the hotel even seemed to look at us quite strangely, I think…

Thanks to the Coq Hôtel for this invitation.
