A new Smokehouse for lovers of high-quality meat has just opened in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, in the heart of the Oberkampf neighborhood.
On the menu at this cool spot called Melt, you’ll find a selection of smoked meats that are particularly melt-in-the-mouth and flavorful, pleasant sides, and a warm, relaxed atmosphere—a very successful result that fits perfectly into my list of great addresses.

The establishment’s concept, inspired by Texan barbecue, offers top-quality meats that are carefully selected (naturally raised and hormone-free) and slowly smoked (between 4 and 15 hours) on-site, at low temperatures in a smoker.
In addition to all this, the meats are seasoned with a secret blend of spices, and the result is delicious!

The setting is also very nice, with a simple, clean aesthetic made from raw materials and an omnipresence of wood in the furniture and decor.
The ordering system is fast and efficient. You order everything at the counter as soon as you enter, then go find a seat in the dining room with a number. When everything is ready, a server brings you a small tray with your order. This allows for quick service and dining, provided there is space in the restaurant, of course.

Must-try:
- Brisket, pieces of beef brisket (Black Angus certified), cooked for 15 hours, super tender and not too fatty (€12 per portion).

- The smoked chicken, a smoked chicken that has retained all its moistness (€13 for 1/2 chicken).

- As for sides, we tested the homemade fries (€4), thin and crispy, but we also recommend the delicious Backyard Potatoes salad (€5).
- To accompany your meal, I highly suggest you give in to the temptation of a little Texan beer, the Lone Star (€5), to get fully into the vibe.

A little extra: all meats are served with coleslaw, pickles, and seasonal vegetables.

Thanks to Melt for this invitation.
