If you’ve been following my blog for a little while, you must have noticed that I love street food. Today, I’m sharing a little guide featuring my favorite spots for hot dogs in Paris! I regularly update this post to include new places I test over the years.

The Smoked Meat
This brand, which has 2 locations in Paris (one in the 11th and the other in the 15th), offers street food focused on pastrami. In addition to their famous pastrami sandwiches, the place also serves hot dogs with poultry sausages. We notably tested the classic New Yorker, which was nice and crispy.

Jack’s Hot Dogs in Pigalle
Jack’s Hot Dogs is a small spot located near Pigalle that opened its doors in 2022. It offers a very high-quality version of the hot dog with good toasted artisanal bread, slices of aged cheddar, onion compote, and recipes that evolve with the seasons. As for sides, I recommend trying the grilled corn on the cob (€3), which is simple but delicious, or the nachos (€3)! And for dessert, don’t hesitate to try the cheesecake (€4). For drinks, I really liked the artisanal beer from Deauville, Paillette (€5).
The spot also offers limited-edition sandwiches throughout the year, and during our visit, we tested the Pigalle sandwich with pastrami, smoked turkey, cheddar, pickles, caramelized onions, and truffle mayonnaise (€7).
Good to know: Jack’s Hot Dog products are also available via click & collect and benefit from a delivery service (17th, 18th, 2nd, 9th, and 10th arrondissements for now).

Clark Hot Dog, in the Marais
This small Hot-Dog corner is located on Rue du Roi de Sicile in the Marais. On the menu are good hot dogs made with homemade preparations. We tested the Coney Island with guacamole, the Brooklyn with cheddar and caramelized onions, and the Gringo with jalapeño peppers. The hot dogs are priced at €5 or €6 depending on the recipe, and if you are vegetarian, you can also ask for a veggie sausage for an extra €2.

Hutch Hot Dogs House, the real New York hot dog
I started telling you about it for the Boule & Bill preview, and today, after personally testing the product, I’m returning to tell you all the good things I think about Hutch Hot-Dogs House. On the menu are hot dogs served in the purest American tradition: with 16 cm milk bread, a 19 cm chicken sausage, pickles, and grilled onions.
4 versions of Hot-Dogs are offered (for €4):
- New York Style (white cabbage, relish, red hot Ketchup, classic or honey mustard)
- Coney Island (caramelized onion, relish, red hot Ketchup, classic or honey mustard)
- Manhattan Style (chili, relish, red hot Ketchup, classic or honey mustard)
- Brooklyn Style (cheddar, relish, red hot Ketchup, classic or honey mustard)

Everything is prepared right before your eyes, made to order, and wrapped in white paper, which you can enjoy while standing in the street or sitting at one of the two tables set up on the sidewalk on nice days.
The little extra: you can enjoy your hot dog with a freshly pressed fruit juice (orange, banana, carrot, melon, celery, ginger…), also made to order, an iced coffee (with a straw), or an Arizona IceTea, a Bud, a Duff, an A&W Root Beer, or even the Hutch Classic Pale Ale, the brand’s house beer!
For those who want to try something else, the place also makes succulent Bagels. And finally, a sweet touch that stays in the ‘made in USA’ spirit, with a choice of muffin, cookie, donut, brownie, carrot cake, ice cream, or cheesecake. In short, fans of the Big Apple, this trendy food spot is made for you! And what’s more, rumors have it that a second location is in the works on Rue Sainte-Marthe… To be continued.

In 2013, Hutch also opened a second location just as tasty in Paris in the 10th arrondissement. I’m showing you some photos below, because I also went to test this 2nd location as you might imagine!
