Freddy’s BBQ is a charming spot located on rue Saint-Denis in Paris. The establishment offers you the chance to experience an American vibe without crossing the Atlantic (if that’s not a great travel hack!).
In the United States, barbecue is a true way of life. That’s why Paul Williams, a French-American who grew up in Texas, decided to introduce the French to this culinary tradition by opening his American restaurant, Freddy’s BBQ. And he certainly made a great choice, because this place is a real success!

As for the decor, it’s very cool, with a selection of raw materials, a large 4-meter canteen-style table upstairs, and an appropriate musical atmosphere. Ordering and service are handled downstairs at the counter, then you head upstairs to settle in at a table.
The little extra: the service is provided in English at the counter downstairs, which makes you feel like you’re traveling for the duration of the meal!

At Freddy’s BBQ, the meats are smoked for hours (between 15 and 20 hours) with different types of wood to best enhance their flavors. The principle is simple: you order a platter with several meats and you can enjoy it alone or with friends!
On the menu: Black Angus beef, pulled pork, pork ribs, chicken thighs, and smoked sausages can be ordered by weight in the purest U.S. tradition!

To accompany the meats, I recommend you try the legendary Mac&Cheese (macaroni with aged cheddar – €5) or the traditional BBQ beans (beans simmered in barbecue sauce – €4). For dessert, the establishment offers homemade cookies (€3.50) or cheesecakes (€5.50).

As for drinks, to pair with your meats, Freddy’s offers “Made In USA” craft beer. You’ll find Goose Island IPA, Anchor Steam, Brooklyn Lager, and many other beers on tap or in bottles (between €4 and €8).
Thanks to Freddy’s BBQ for this invitation and this delicious feast!
