Today on the blog, I’m introducing you to one of my seasonal discoveries: the autumnal champagne brunch at the Restaurant La Fayette, which is available on Saturdays and Sundays until Sunday, December 14th.
The Restaurant La Fayette is located on the ground floor of the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile hotel, between the La Défense business district and the Golden Triangle, right by the Porte Maillot metro station.
It is also the only hotel that has direct access to the Palais des Congrès. It also features the sublime La Vue bar (which I have already talked about a lot on the blog), offering a unique panorama of Paris’ most famous monuments.
This brunch, which I have been lucky enough to be invited to test twice, always offers seasonal flavors via a high-quality buffet, accompanied by a hot dish of your choice depending on seasonal products, and a hot beverage.
As someone who is not a huge fan of buffet brunches in general, I must admit that this one almost reconciles me with them…
All the buffet products are super appetizing, the fruit juices are fresh and squeezed the same day, the pastries are homemade and delicious (I especially recommend you test their succulent cookies!), the salads are often very original, and the selection of breads makes you want to taste everything!
On the menu: pastries, deli meats, scrambled eggs, cheeses, fresh fruit juices, magnificent desserts (autumn fruit tarts, tiramisu, all-chocolate tart, …).
Regarding the venue, the decor is quite sober and nothing particularly remarkable, but I enjoy the large windows that allow you to enjoy the sunshine on nice days.
The little extra: the glass of Roederer Brut Premier Champagne offered per person for this autumnal brunch.
The rest of the year, you can obviously still enjoy this brunch, just without the glass of champagne.
