I am a huge fan of cocktails, as you know, because I have a special section on the subject and I have already put together several articles on this theme on my blog. Today, I decided to write a new cocktail bar article, but from a slightly different angle by gathering some great Parisian spots where you can drink a good cocktail while enjoying some small (and delicious!) things to eat, tapas-style.
Of course, this list is obviously not exhaustive (it’s impossible for me to test every bar in the capital!) and you can suggest your favorite spots in the comments section of the article below. I will also regularly update this article with my most recent discoveries.

Le Baratruf
Le Baratruf is the first Parisian truffle grower’s counter and it is set up right next to the Place des Vosges in a cozy, yet unpretentious atmosphere. Here, the truffle is king, and to accompany it, the address also turns into a cocktail bar specializing in Spritz with about 30 recipes on its menu. The establishment’s goal is to democratize the black diamond, and it mainly works with the owner’s own Burgundian production: the Tuber uncinatum, also known as the Burgundy truffle. We had a truffle toast board (small €16 and large €28) with butter and truffle-infused “Vache qui rit” to break with convention. But my personal favorite of the evening was undoubtedly their homemade Foccatruf; it was such a knockout that I could come back just for that. Finally, we ended the evening by raising a glass with the master of the house, Pierre-Ivan, wishing a long life to Le Baratruf!

Le First
Le Flirt is an intimate spot in Saint-Germain-des-Prés that opened its doors in 2024. Located just a stone’s throw from the Place Furstemberg, the place houses a club but also a cocktail bar that offers classics revisited by the establishment’s mixologists, as well as some really great, well-made signature cocktails. And to go with all that, the address also offers a selection of refined tapas: I recommend the plate of pata negra (€26), the smoked salmon croque (€14), or the lobster brioche roll (€18).

Le Comptoir des Fables
This place is an upscale cocktail and tapas bar in Paris. The venue offers tapas or plates to share featuring great, elevated products (count between €13 and €22 per plate), and I must say it had been a long time since I tasted tapas this good and refined! The place is cozy and the decoration is well-curated. For our part, we took advantage of the beautiful weather to dine on the establishment’s small temporary terrace.
Notably to taste on the 2022 menu: the grilled lamb pita with za’atar and Greek yogurt (€19), the Vitello-Tonato katsuobushi with cherry tomato, capers, and sucrine lettuce (€16), the pork cromesquis with a bearnaise siphon (€17), the pork gyozas with ginger (€18), salmon tartare and oysters (€16), or my favorite, the octopus with Cremona mustard (€19); for dessert, we tried the tonka mille-feuille with crunchy peanut praline (€13), and I had a crush on the dark chocolate creamy with black sesame sorbet, kumquat, and crumble (€13).
As for the cocktails tested in 2023: I recommend the Rose Berry cocktail with a super indulgent Italian meringue on top (€14) or the Bissap Blazer (€15), a fiery cocktail (in every sense of the word) with a combination of 3 rums that immediately got us into the mood!

Les Musardeurs
This cocktail bar is located in Belleville in the 20th arrondissement of Paris. This address is the little sister of the Musa Bar, which is located in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. On the program: a great atmosphere, a table to play chess, and above all, quality cocktails that are very original, well-made, and reasonably priced. On the food side, there are dishes to share based on fresh, seasonal, short-circuit products like beet tzatziki (€8), mackerel rillettes (€10), smoked scamorza from Chevreuse with hot lentils (€12), or grilled cheese with aged cheddar (€13).
My recommendations in terms of cocktails: the Leaf Me Alone with gin infused with clementine leaves (€9.50); the Poire Lachaise with celery vodka, celery brandy, and pear (€10); the Nuts Idea with whiskey, cashew syrup, pecan, tonka, almond, and hazelnut—this cocktail is practically a dessert (€11); Red Hot Chili Cédrat with mezcal, citron brandy, and chili pepper (€12).

Les Commères, pastry bar
Les Commères is the pastry bar by Adèle Doublet, open only in the evening and located in the South Pigalle neighborhood in Paris. On the menu: ultra-fresh pastries made to order right before our eyes, offered as a pairing with cocktails! The place also offers some small savory snacks to start the evening. In short, a great spot for those with a sweet tooth, and I recommend you test the lemon meringue tart (€8) or the coffee praline entremet (€9) prepared with the spiral technique on a turntable (it’s really cool to watch!).
To taste: milk buns with pulled pork and raclette (€11.70); crispy breaded chicken with coconut-peanut sauce (€9.90); I Love Yuzu cocktail (€11.50); Gin Taille Haute cocktail (€9.50); cream puffs with custom whipped cream that I didn’t get a chance to test (€9).

Zozoo, the cocktail bar in Butte aux Cailles
This address, located in the heart of the Butte aux Cailles in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, is a bar/club that offers eclectic musical programming while also providing elaborate cocktails and high-quality snacks! Upstairs, you’ll find the bar and some casual benches to sit and have a drink while enjoying the establishment’s food menu. And in the basement, you’ll discover an immersive mini-club that comes alive during the evening and goes into clubbing mode with DJ sets starting at 10:00 PM and lasting until 2:00 AM.
As for the cocktails (prices between €11 and €12), you’ll find super original and perfectly balanced creations with house-made syrups and surprising flavors. And for food, the menu is also well-crafted with homemade, fresh products inspired by South American and Asian countries.

Le Shake N’Smash
The menu from the Shake N’Smash bar’s (located just a stone’s throw from the Place de la République) head bartender, Axel Amasse, is resolutely musical, with cocktail names that pay tribute to singers, bands, or even famous songs. Plus, on the menu, each cocktail is presented with the cover of the album that inspired it.
I also really like the venue’s very original decor, between a Cabinet of Curiosities and a mix of genres, secret rooms, and eclectic furniture. On the food side, the establishment offers plates to share, such as the veggie burger with mushrooms and melted Cantal (€8) or the duck tacos with honey-mustard sauce (€9).

Bô, Caribbean food bar
This new Caribbean food bar by Julia Sedefdjian, whose name means kiss in Creole, is located in the 5th arrondissement of Paris.
On the program: island cocktails (I strongly advise you to test the Dobo with chili and honey), accompanied by typical dishes, all in a super warm atmosphere!
I also advise you to end your evening with a small rum tasting guided by the local specialists; you will learn plenty of things about this island spirit.

L’Ecluse Paris
This brand, which has existed since 1951, has 3 Parisian addresses that are “wine and dining bars”: Saint-Honoré, Madeleine, and François 1er. The decor is quite similar across the two addresses I’ve had the opportunity to test (Saint-Honoré and Madeleine, of which you will find some photos below), muted and cozy with large wall frescoes.
On the food and drink side, the brand offers very good cocktails (about €12) made with quality ingredients and premium spirits (notably 2 French vodkas: Guillotine and Alky) and to accompany all that, gourmet and elaborate tapas to share (prices between €9 and €13): little roast Camembert with a runny center (€9); scallops in parsley (€13); French KFC, breaded frog legs (€12); croque monsieur (€10).

Table Métis
This restaurant, open since the beginning of July, offers contemporary Afro tapas and is gluten-free, and the menu is also 80% vegan. For drinks, the establishment serves African-inspired cocktails and also South African wine. This restaurant was a very beautiful discovery, and I particularly appreciated it for its originality and for the quality of its tapas with African flavors but prepared in a bistronomic way.
To taste: royale sea bream tartare with harissa (€10); baked beet with peanut okra (€7); corn risotto (€8); Shiitake oyster mushroom Maniocki (€9); spinach cassava guacamole (€6); Red bean Akra with niéhé (€9)
As for desserts, there’s no shortage, since the restaurant also offers a few sweet plates for those who love to end a meal (like me, I admit) with a bit of sugar.

Since November 28th of this year, the restaurant L’Assaggio at the 5-star hotel Castille Paris has been offering the Sinoira Castille, an Italian-style aperitif every Wednesday from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
On the program: delicious products of Italian gastronomy to nibble on while enjoying one of the 4 Signature cocktails designed by the hotel’s head bartender, Suneildrasingh, or Italian wines, in the refined setting of L’Assaggio bar and its patio.
The charcuterie and cheeses are selected from Raffinati, a superb Italian aging house and delicatessen located in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, and the specialties are prepared in the kitchen by the Chef and his team.

Le Bar de Biondi, Argentine cocktails and tapas (closed)
This bar is dedicated to Argentine bistronomy and serves generous tapas-style portions to accompany the very good creation cocktails by head bartender David Medina. One thing is for sure, the establishment’s Argentine tapas are truly delicious and I recommend you let yourself be guided by your waiter’s suggestions. For enthusiasts, there is even a nice little choice of desserts, like the Dulce de Leche variation with crumble (€10).
