On this blog, I share my discoveries, my top tips, and my favorite spots, but also the things that have captured my heart.
Sometimes, thanks to blogs, we discover beautiful initiatives and meet people who share their experiences and personal growth with us.
That was the case when I discovered last year the existence of the Trophée Roses des Sables, a 100% female adventure in the desert.
The concept of this rally like no other is as follows: French-speaking women from all walks of life, united by the same desire to push their limits! This competition, reserved for women as you might have guessed, is rooted in the tradition of African rally-raids. Aboard a 4×4, Buggy, SSV, Quad, or motorcycle, the adventurers must reach various stages until they arrive in Merzouga.
The twelfth edition of this race took place from October 11 to 21, 2012, and you can find all the information on the website: http://trophee-roses-des-sables.net or on the event’s Facebook page.
But enough chatter, I’ve selected a small series of photos for you, like a report, to let you experience a small part of this race in pictures and, who knows, perhaps inspire you to embark on the adventure yourself!
