The Vagabond Hotel
This beautiful boutique hotel located in Singapore’s Chinatown is

My room, 203, faced the street; these aren’t the quietest rooms since there was sometimes some commotion outside, but strangely enough (even though I am quite sensitive to noise), that didn’t stop me from sleeping like a log… Well, I admit I was also exhausted…

Breakfast:
It is an à la carte breakfast, so I tried to have something different each morning to give you a little preview of it.

- The Marina Bay Sands Hotel
This huge hotel with over 2,500 rooms is also one of the city’s iconic landmarks. With its 3 towers and its boat-shaped rooftop terrace (the Sands SkyPark), it doesn’t go unnoticed and offers a magnificent view of both the Singapore skyline and the China Sea.
I obviously didn’t stay there as the prices are very high, but I was lucky enough to take a short walk around the hotel’s pool, nestled on the Sands SkyPark. It is just incredible, but unfortunately, it is reserved only for hotel guests…
Legend has it that young Singaporeans sometimes rent a room in large groups just to go for a dip in the pool in the evening… And honestly, if I lived there, that’s what I would do…
By the way, one of the chefs I met last year in San-Sebastian, Justin Quek, has his restaurant, Sky on 57, right at the top of this incredible building.

I hope that all this has made you want to discover Singapore, perhaps during a future stopover, and if you also have your own tips for this destination, don’t hesitate to share them in the comments!
