Last weekend, I spent an afternoon getting pampered at the very chic Madison Hôtel in Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
This special rendezvous for Parisians, held in an elegant Haussmann-style building in partnership with the Parisian bargain blog Mademoiselle et Mister, is one to add to your girls’ agenda.
On the program in the hotel’s lounges: 3 hours of beauty treatments with plenty of girly workshops to get dolled up and ready for the evening ahead.
On the program for this beauty party:
- a make-up bar with Laure Derrey (tested and approved)
- a hair bar with updos, braids, and blowouts (unfortunately didn’t have time to try it)
- an OPI hand beauty manicure & nail art bar with Anna (tested and approved)
- an image consulting workshop with a specialist who shares her precious advice on our look, with a hand-drawn sketch of ourselves as a bonus
- A hand care workshop by Tania (personally, I tested her wonderful hand massage)
You relax, you get your make-up done, manicured, styled, photographed… In short, you get to play star with your girlfriends in a chic & cozy setting!
Of course, it’s hard to do all the workshops in the allotted time, but accompanied by champagne and a few treats, you quickly find yourself letting go in the expert hands of specialists for a total glamorous look before heading out.
A great opportunity to kill two birds with one stone: participate in a low-cost beauty event (€20) and discover a new cozy place to have tea or a nice glass of wine after an afternoon of shopping in the neighborhood!
