The 6th edition of the RussenKo Festival, celebrating Russian and Russian-speaking cultures (photography, literature, cinema, music, visual arts, clowning, gastronomy, etc.) will be held in Le Kremlin-Bicêtre on January 30th, 31st, and February 1st, 2015.
This unmissable event, which I feature every year because I find it particularly interesting and very accessible, showcases Russia today in its most creative form and offers a rich program between visual arts, photography, literature, cinema, music, gastronomy, performing arts, and round tables.
A constantly renewed program, as evidenced this year by the Festival’s expansion into other disciplines such as the art of Clowning.
Images will be at the heart of this 6th edition, especially photography with two collective exhibitions.
On the program: shows, screenings, exhibitions, concerts, and meetings focused on Russian and Russian-speaking cultures.
The gastronomy section, introduced (and widely appreciated) in 2014, is returning in 2015 around the theme of “New Farmers.” The program will also be an opportunity to meet producers, chefs, and collectives working to define new forms of food.
On the program: a round table (“Feeding cities well”), an inauguration banquet, gastronomic workshops, and masterclasses with chefs Gérard Cagna, Anton Prokoffief, and Elena Koznova, who will use regional products from the Ile-de-France and Moscow regions.
Giveaway: After giving away a superb trip to Saint Petersburg in 2014, the Russenko Festival and the tour operator Nord Espace are sending you to Moscow for this new edition!
