La Ressourcerie, a new life for your old items

Collecting and reusing small household appliances, clothes, dishes, small furniture… such is the goal of ressourceries (resource centers), local non-profit centers, several branches of which are open to the public in Paris.

Some items can be resold at modest prices in the shops of these facilities.

Others are creatively transformed before being sold.

As for the items that cannot be repaired, they are sent to recycling channels.

One of the ressourceries located in the 14th arrondissement, named Rehoué, specializes in old toys.

These places also provide information about the environment and facilitate the integration of disadvantaged people.
