The MUJI flagship store

The MUJI flagship store, located at Place Carré in the Forum des Halles, has been welcoming Parisians and tourists since last September across more than 700 m2 of retail space.

On the agenda: ready-to-wear, office accessories, as well as several new items including the Abbaye de Chantelle colognes (limited edition), the MUJI Kids clothing collection, and Found MUJI, featuring kitchen accessories from the collaboration between the Japanese brand and the concept store Merci.

The Best Deal: in the center of the store, an area is dedicated to DIY with stamps accessible to everyone for free, so you can customize items purchased on-site (theoretically). There is even an embroidery workshop!

Let’s craft happily with Dremel and the Nouvelle Fabrique

Dremel, a brand of multi-purpose mini-tools dedicated to DIY and creative hobbies, is partnering with the Nouvelle Fabrique, a “micro urban factory,” for its workshops.

Located in the heart of the Centquatre, the Nouvelle Fabrique is a friendly space bringing together digital production lines, a collaborative workspace, shared knowledge, and a point of sale for objects and services. It explores new solutions for collaborating and producing differently.

On the agenda, a contest to win tickets to put your DIY skills into practice in a fun and discovery-filled atmosphere during the “pocket workshops” (manual creative workshops focusing on 3D printing and digital milling techniques. They take place on Saturdays and Sundays for 2 hours, from 11 am to 1 pm).

Assisted by the design team from the Nouvelle Fabrique and using Dremel products to carry out projects, participants leave with their creations at the end of the session.

To win your spot, it couldn’t be simpler: just answer the question of the month and be chosen by a jury as one of the 3 winners each month.

The Repar School by Leroy Merlin

Oureparer is partnering with Leroy Merlin for its Repar School concept. As the first geolocation site for repairers in France, it invites owners of broken items to meet a team of experts and learn how to get them back in working order. This interactive system helps provide better visibility to independent artisans, who offer their services at affordable prices to consumers.

This Repar School is intended to expand across France, with Leroy Merlin remaining focused on home themes and a more diverse range of items alongside other partners.

The Second-Life Product Directory from Friends of the Earth

Friends of the Earth launched a free directory for a second life for products two years ago, because, unfortunately, buying a new product is often easier than finding a repairer or a second-hand item.

This directory lists addresses for repairers, flea markets, workshops to learn how to repair things, or associations that collect and fix up your old items. Today, nearly 2,000 addresses are already listed.
