Rodrigues Island at the Paris Aquarium on May 30 and 31
The Rodrigues Tourism Office has decided to host a Rodrigues show at the Paris Aquarium, in the heart of the capital, over the weekend of May 30-31, for Mother’s Day.
This event aims to introduce the general public to this authentic & exotic piece of land. The Paris Aquarium will dress up in the colors of Rodrigues for the weekend.
During these 2 days, a team of 10 dancers and musicians from Rodrigues, 13 local tourism professionals (hoteliers and other providers), 3 representatives from the Rodrigues Island Tourism Office, and 1 chef, will host various themed workshops and answer visitors’ questions.
Program :
Traditional dance and music on the Paris Aquarium terrace at 11:45 AM, 12:45 PM, 2:45 PM, and 4:30 PM + at 2:00 PM in the Play Area
Culinary tastings free on the outdoor terrace and in the main restaurant (Honey, jam, etc.)

Because I think it’s important, here is a charity event for Mother’s Day benefiting mothers in need. Indeed, the Apprentis d’Auteuil foundation is organizing the "Mamans en fête" event on Saturday, May 30th.
The program features 10 clearance sales in 10 French cities (including Paris, Bordeaux, Canet-en-Roussillon, Grenoble, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Strasbourg, and Toulouse) to combine great deals with solidarity. But this year, I also have a special thought for another mother, my father’s, who just left us a short while ago… So I think of her with emotion as I write these few lines…
