Gardens in all their glory: 2016 edition

by Melle Bon Plan
Published: Updated:

I already told you about it over the previous 4 years, but in this late May and early June period, we are going to celebrate gardens with several events that encourage us to step outside, enjoy a little reconnection with nature, flowers, and all that, by planning bucolic-themed weekends.

And that’s a good thing, since summer seems to have already arrived this year, even if the sun thinks it’s on a temp contract…

Gardener Voices

Paroles de Jardiniers 2016 poster, gardens and flowers in a suitcase.I really like the Gardener Voices (Paroles de Jardiniers) event, which returns this year for its 5th edition around the theme of travel, throughout the Yvelines territory on the 3 weekends from May 28 to June 12, 2016.

This event is an opportunity to meet incredible gardeners, amateur individuals, or professionals in charge of large estates, who open the doors of their gardens to share their secrets and more…

During the 3 weekends, thematic workshops, tours, and discussions are organized in about sixty sites.

The 2016 edition of Gardener Voices features 60 open gardens for a total of 115 activities offered to the general public.

The great deal: these activities are accessible by reservation and free for the majority.
