Just like every year, this upcoming March 8th, we will be celebrating International Women’s Day all over the world (well, almost).
To celebrate this event in my own way, I’ve put together a small selection of tips I’ve unearthed, just for us women, to make sure we have a wonderful day on this Tuesday, March 8th, 2016.

Tasting exhibition with Vinochromie

Conference “Toutes Sportives ?” (Are we all athletes?)
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, UFOLEP and the MGEN Group are organizing a conference-debate on the role and place of women in sports: “Toutes Sportives ? Entre représentations et réalités” (Are we all athletes? Between representations and realities).

The Girly Raffle by the Passeport pour l’Avenir association
For the fourth consecutive year, the Passeport pour l’Avenir association is organizing a volunteer-run party for International Women’s Day on Friday, March 18th, in the form of a major charity Girly Raffle.
This solidarity event will help fund the needs of the Sokodé orphanage and support a maternity clinic in Lomé, Togo.
The raffle is aimed at all shopaholic women who want to “treat themselves while doing a good deed.”
More than 400 raffle tickets are being sold by the organizers here at the price of €30 until March 18, 2016, and every ticket is a winner!
Icing on the cake: if you buy a raffle ticket, you will be invited on March 18th to a very special evening at La Bellevilloise to attend the drawing of winning tickets, as well as a concert by the Men of Gospel.

Juliette Binoche pays tribute to the Sacred Feminine at the Théâtre les Feux de la Rampe
On March 8, 2016, many conferences, unique workshops, a concert, and even a show will be organized to celebrate Women’s Day differently at the Théâtre les Feux de la Rampe.
The evening will take place in the presence of Juliette Binoche, who will pay tribute to the Sacred Feminine during a special reading of texts by Marguerite Kardos.
On the program:
- Conferences from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Unlimited day pass 10am-6pm for €45)
- Women of Tomorrow workshops from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (Unlimited workshop pass free)

The Hotel Banke celebrates women on March 8th
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Hotel Banke (which I have already mentioned several times on the blog), located in the Opera district of Paris, will welcome every woman with a rose.
Indeed, all women who have booked a room, or a table at the Josefin restaurant or at the Lolabar, on Tuesday, March 8th, will be offered a rose.

The “Culot’thé” Days by the Au Moulin Rose brand
Every year, the brand Au Moulin Rose organizes a large national event in March with its entire team across France.
On the program: women, tea, and free workshops to get pampered.
For a weekend, on March 5 and/or 6, 2016, the in-home sellers of the brand Au Moulin Rose are organizing the same event simultaneously all over France (more than 40 events listed so far).
Each “Culot’thé Days by the Corset Brand” event consists of several cocooning and discovery workshops for women, contests, etc., all in a girly atmosphere, perfect for chatting and sharing confidences, with tea and cookies.

On March 8th, women are queens at France Cars
