This year, I had the chance to attend the Victoires de la Beauté at the Théâtre de Paris, which rewards products tested and approved by a consumer jury.
But even better than just being a guest, I was an “official reporter” for the evening. Basically, the idea was to show a little behind-the-scenes look at a ceremony like this one by giving you a tour of the backstage area.
Because behind-the-scenes, as always, is definitely worth a look!
I invite you on stage!
After a quick tour of the dressing rooms, here is our little group of reporters on stage, behind the theater’s large red curtain. From there, you can better understand the stage fright actors or presenters feel when they walk out. In the audience, you’re usually on the auditorium side, and I can assure you that from the stage side, the angle of view is completely different. It hits you in the gut, but it’s also magical.
In a stolen moment, I catch a glimpse of the precious statuettes, waiting patiently to be awarded to the winners in a corner behind the stage…
A quick return to the dressing rooms for an exclusive interview with Élodie Gossuin, the event’s godmother.
We then had some time to discover the winning products and take advantage of the professionals on site to get our hair and makeup done before joining the spectators in the theater and taking part in the ceremony…
Once settled into our reserved seats (it’s great to be a VIP), we watched the ceremony and then enjoyed a lovely little concert by Irma.
Thanks again to the Victoires de la Beauté team for allowing us to experience this beautiful evening as reporters and for opening up the behind-the-scenes of their event to the public.
