Just like last year, around the same time, Les Rives de la Beauté are back to enchant Paris from September 19 to 23, 2012, with a theme this year that sheds light on “hidden beauty”.
For 5 days, key figures in the beauty, fragrance, and wellness sectors will be offering exhibitions, workshops (some free, others paid), thematic tours, conferences, new product discoveries, and more all across Paris.
Mademoiselle Bon Plan’s little selection:
- A free exhibition of photographs by Etienne Bertrand Weill at the BnF François Mitterrand site.
- “Jean Patou, the Essence of the 20s”, conversations with Thomas Fontaine, the House’s perfumer, on September 19, 20, and 21 at 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 6:00 PM. Reservations by email: dorothee@jeanpatou.com (subject to availability).
- Assa, a Japanese wellness salon, invites us to a “Mini Shiatsu” session to discover Shiatsu massage, accompanied by a Japanese tea tasting by Jugetsudo. Friday, September 21, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Registration by email: info@assa-spa.fr (limited spots).
- Exclusive “Eaux Bouillantes” tasting at Le Purgatoire – 54 Paradis on Thursday, September 20, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

- A free exhibition at the Hôtel Lutetia (45 boulevard Raspail / 75006 Paris) from September 17 to October 7, 2012: “Parfum d’Empire: From the Sacred to Voluptuousness”.
