Today I wanted to tell you about a Parisian cultural venue that is a bit off the beaten path because it’s located outside the city center: the CND (Centre National de la Danse) in Pantin.
This place is definitely worth a visit for the quality of its programming and for prices that are much more affordable than in other Parisian cultural institutions.
The CND’s mission is to champion creation and artistic heritage within the field of dance by allowing the public to discover, watch, and practice dance in a different way through a rich and shared program.
It offers workshops, screenings, lectures, dance lessons, and of course, shows—all at truly attractive prices compared to most Parisian venues.
Bonus Tips:
– The CND has a subscription system with a “CND” card for €10, which provides access to numerous reduced rates as well as perks and invitations. More info here.
– The CND offers free events on Wednesday afternoons (free entry with reservation) at 4:30 PM, featuring film screenings of fiction related to the season’s shows. More info on the program right here.
