A solidarity ticketing system for the Marseille Dance and Multi-Arts Festival

For once, I wanted to shine a light on a unique solidarity ticketing system set up in Marseille as part of the Dance and Multi-Arts Festival currently taking place in the Phocaean city until July 6, 2012.

The 2012 edition of the festival marks the fourth year of the Culture Charter. This initiative offers 2,200 tickets at 1 euro to individuals with the most modest incomes, thanks to the financial support of partners and the involvement of partner associations and organizations.

The goal of this noble operation is to ensure that cost is never a barrier for anyone wanting to attend the show of their choice.

If you don’t live in Marseille, you might know someone who does, so please feel free to spread the word!

Who is this offer for?

Do you live in Marseille and are you a recipient of social welfare benefits, a scholarship student, a single parent, or a person with a disability?

Contact the organizers at 04 91 99 02 56 and they will point you to the local organizations to contact to benefit from these highly discounted tickets.
