For 10 years, the Frimousses de Créateurs initiative has been the symbol of the alliance between fashion, art, and humanitarian commitment.

Each year, fashion houses, jewelers, artists, and designers offer all their talent to benefit the children of Darfur through UNICEF and all their partners.

The lovely Frimousses will celebrate their tenth anniversary this year under the theme “Yes Futur!“. Big names such as Chanel, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Chantal Thomass, Chloé, or Jean Paul Gaultier will be present, as well as new creators, such as Roure, the French jeweler, or the famous French-Venezuelan painter, Carlos Cruz-Diez, to join this solidarity effort.

These “works of art” dolls will be exhibited for free at the Petit Palais from November 27th to December 2nd, 2012, in a magical setting designed by Valeria Attinelli, accompanied by a custom-made soundscape created by sound designers Arnaud Clemente-Jacques and Olivier Perrot.

On December 3rd, 2012 at 8:30 PM, fashion enthusiasts, art collectors, and generous donors will gather for the auction hosted by Artcurial Briest-Poulain-F.Tajan. For the first time in 10 years, the sale will take place in the exceptional setting of the Petit Palais. In 10 years of mobilization, Frimousses de Créateurs has allowed UNICEF to raise €1,527,480 to fund large-scale child vaccination campaigns.

Over 250 creators have made a total of 771 dolls throughout this decade. The anniversary of the Frimousses is the perfect opportunity to break a new record to offer a future to the children of Darfur.
