The Deep Nature Spa at the Hotel Saint James Albany
This somewhat secret spa is nestled in the basement of the 4-star Hotel Saint James Albany, located on the very busy Rue de Rivoli.
It is equipped with a hammam and a magnificent pool with very successful lighting. Several rooms also allow for massages, whether alone or as a couple, by expert hands in a dim and intimate atmosphere.
I particularly appreciated the relaxing ambiance of the place, under 17th-century cut stone vaults. After my relaxing massage, it was the perfect place to unwind a little more before heading back into the hustle and bustle of the city.
Price: Spa entry at €55 / body treatment between €65 and €130
The tip: spa access is included for any treatment of 50 minutes or more.

It can also be used for relaxing massages.
The nutritive and nourishing hair mask, 95% naturally derived with shea butter, from the brand Lovéa, which I had already told you about on the blog. It is applied for 5 minutes (perfect in the shower, therefore).

My discovery of new brands

This American brand of natural and non-aggressive skin products always offers cosmetics with an intoxicating scent. It is established in France in the heart of the Beauty Space at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann.
I have become addicted to their transparent lip balm, super effective, and I know a thing or two about the subject, I’ve tested almost all of them…

The brand specializing in nail and hand products already has several corners in the capital. It also has a nice makeup range, and I have become a fan of their perfecting compact powder (€15.90) to add dimension to the complexion.
For hands, I also recommend the ultra-nourishing serum with lotus flower (€22.50) and the 4-in-1 silicon nail care base coat (€7.90) to make the nail harder, more resistant, and it also gives a pretty pink tint if you apply 2 coats.

New Beauty releases at Monoprix
As usual, Monoprix, the both popular and trendy store, presents us with pretty surprises regarding beauty for its new collection. New brands will make their appearance on the shelves, such as Thebalm, Lollipops, or even Ogx. But also the store, which is creating its own makeup brand, namely Monop’ make-up. Very nice novelties, some of which are already to be discovered in your Monoprix stores.
Let’s start this presentation with this delicious shimmering effect shower gel with white flowers. Hurry, this one is a limited edition, and its delicate scent (with notes of gardenia according to my trained nose) is to die for. As for the shimmering effect, fear not, it is very light, almost imperceptible, so you can use it on a daily basis. Monoprix is also launching its moisturizing mask in a single-use dose, ultra-practical for traveling.
This new collection is also the opportunity for the brand to launch its makeup line, Monop’ make-up, with nail polishes that are removed with soapy water, but also a first makeup kit for young girls.
We continue this presentation of the beauty novelties present at Monoprix with the long-awaited arrival of two brands very well known to beautystas, with girly and refined packaging, Thebalm and Lollipops.
The famous American hair care brand Ogx is also arriving on the shelves. These sulfate-free treatments bet on the natural character of their composition and the sensoriality of their formula enriched with exotic ingredients (argan oil, macadamia…).
