This year, Culture au Quai will take place on September 24th and 25th, 2016. This event is a great opportunity to connect with all types of audiences over the course of a weekend.

For this 9th edition, over 200 cultural venues from the Paris region (theaters, museums, concert halls, heritage sites…) will be presenting their locations and their upcoming seasonal programs along the banks of the Bassin de la Villette.

This massive, entirely free event dedicates a whole weekend to cultural outings: shows, exhibitions, dance, concerts, or cinema—you’ll have plenty to choose from to plan your year of activities!

On the program: 250 cultural venues, around 100 free shows, 4 themed villages (exhibition, concert, show, getaway),…

Culture au Quai is once again hosting numerous exhibitors this year, such as: Le Palais de Tokyo, the National Museum of the History of Immigration, La Maison Rouge, the Roland Garros museum, Cinemacity, La Java, Studio de l’Ermitage, La REcyclerie, Le Pavillon des Canaux, La Machine du Moulin Rouge, and more.

Don’t miss:

  • Escape Hunt (which I already mentioned in my special article on Escape Games) is launching the mobile Escape Room, a new life-sized entertainment concept that is now portable outside of fixed walls. For the occasion, the public will be able to discover it for the first time at Culture au Quai and test it for free for 15 minutes!
  • Cultura will present its future Villette store, which will open on November 30th and will be its first Parisian location. On the program, craft demonstrations on the stand and at the main workshop (street art, scrapcooking…) hosted by the teams from the VILL’UP store.

The Tip: you will be able to attend around a hundred free shows and concerts.
