Launched in France in 1982, the Fête de la Musique, which has become a global event, is organized every June 21st for the summer solstice in over 110 countries, including about twenty in Europe. This year, the big day for this new edition falls on Monday, June 21st to be precise! It’s the perfect opportunity to spend a lovely evening and enjoy the music until the end of the night (ah no, damn… this year it’s only until 11 PM, but hey, we’re not going to complain, it’s better than nothing…).
As usual, I offer you a non-exhaustive selection below of events to enjoy in Paris. Don’t hesitate to book now because most events will obviously only be accessible by reservation, due to limited capacity.

Fip celebrates music at the Arènes de Lutèce
For the 50th anniversary of France Inter Paris, the radio station will offer Parisians a major popular concert in the heart of the capital. Thanks to the collaboration between the City of Paris and the 5th arrondissement town hall, Fip will offer a grand concert in the Arènes de Lutèce, an ancient amphitheater built in the 1st century AD.
The radio station will, as usual, offer an eclectic, subtle, and curious lineup: the London band Morcheeba and its singer Skye Edwards, saxophonist Thomas de Pourquery accompanied by saxophonist Laurent Bardainne and his sidekick trumpeter Fabrice Martinez (Drôles de Dames), the electro-pop sextet L’Impératrice, the Belgians from Balthazar and their explosive alternative rock, and the very young Meskerem Mees to be discovered in an acoustic pop-folk set.
And to complete this sparkling lineup, Fip will host Ballaké Sissoko, his kora, and his renowned accomplices: Camille, Arthur Teboul (Feu ! Chatterton), Oxmo Puccino, and Piers Faccini.
