A small gift from the RATP to its users as every year: for New Year’s Eve, the metros, buses, trains, and RER will run all night and will be free from December 31st at 5 PM to January 1st at 12 PM.

New Year's Eve Guide Île-de-France 2011: Free transport for New Year's Eve.

As on the eves of holidays, the entire metro network is open until 2:15 AM, and for night owls, 6 metro lines (lines 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, and 14) will be partially in service from 2:15 AM to 5:30 AM.

All trains and RER lines will be local (omnibus) that night. The night bus service, Noctilien, will run at full capacity from 12:30 AM to 5:30 AM.

A guide, including all the maps for each network and providing everything you need to know about the arrangements put in place for that evening, will be available at ticket counters and on RATP buses to help users.
