As a pro tip seeker and someone who loves finding great spots, I’ve been wanting to write a short article for a while now about books related to this theme in Paris.
I’m going to introduce you to a few works that have caught my attention in recent months.

My Best Adress Book Paris
At the origin of this book is a website launched in 2009, inspired by social networks, My BestAdressBook.com, which allows its members to share their best addresses, giving the community the opportunity to share and recommend their favorites. The site now has more than 80,000 members with 25,000 different addresses around the world.
For the release of the book, Laure Baubigeat and Chloé Bollloré decided to gather the best addresses from the site into a city guide dedicated to Paris, listing the latest trendy spots or must-visit places in the Capital: intimate restaurants, friendly bistros, and small fashionable brands.
The Mybestaddressbook city guide reveals more than 400 trendy addresses in the capital, covering both essential and secret spots, quirky or classic venues, trendy or traditional, as long as these addresses reflect the soul of the Capital and its Parisians.
Several iconic Parisian figures, who are unconditional fans of MyBestAddressBook, have also agreed to share their top picks, such as the sparkling Alix Girod de l’Ain, the designer Maloles, Alexis Mabille, Cyril Hanouna, or Julie Andrieu.

The Parisians, what they say, what they do… by My Little Paris
“You aren’t born a Parisian, you become one“. This little saying takes on its full meaning if you have lived, even for a little while, in Paris and have loved this Parisian immersion.
I am absolutely not a Parisian by birth myself, but today I feel I belong to this city more than any other.
Have you ever: -Spent the summer in Paris in the rain? -Been 31st on the waiting list to find an apartment? -Let 5 subways go by on a strike day? -Looked for a seat on a terrace for 1 hour? -Crossed all of Paris on a Sunday morning to go get brunch? Then you are surely in this book!
For 4 years, the website My Little Paris has been distilling its secret and unusual addresses. Fany Péchiodat, the creator of My Little Paris, has always sniffed out secret spots well-hidden in the urban jungle. The site is now a must for Parisian women and I regularly find great deals there.
My Little Paris expanded to Editions du Chêne in 2010 with The Secret Addresses of Parisian Women, a great success in bookstores which was also translated into English, and in 2011 with My Little Lyon.
