I don’t know what you think, but I find that the beginning of October is packed with interesting events you shouldn’t miss! Today, it’s the Fête de la Science (Science Festival) that I would like to highlight.
This event will take place this year from October 9 to 13, 2013 all over France (ah, finally a “bon plan” that isn’t just for Parisians, my readers who don’t live in the capital will tell me!).
As is often the case, this type of event offers many free activities, entertainment, lectures, and workshops for both adults and children.
Melle Bon Plan’s little selection in Paris:
- The Paris Observatory is opening two exceptional exhibitions on measuring the sky to the public for free, on Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13, from 2 PM to 6 PM
- Pariscience, the International Science Film Festival, for which all screenings are free
- The Natural History Museum is offering free activities and workshops on Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13 from 1 PM to 6 PM at the Jardin des Plantes (75005)
- The Quai Branly Museum is also participating in this festival and offers fun, free activities for the whole family
- The open days at the Paris Institute of Astrophysics on Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13, which is also celebrating its 75th anniversary
- Free weekend at the Cité des Sciences on Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13
You can find the entire program for the event throughout France on the website: http://www.fetedelascience.fr/
