From October 29th to 31st, the Pitchfork Festival will bring together the best artists of the moment (Black Emperor, Beach House, Ratatat, and Rhye) at the Grande Halle de la Villette in Paris.
On the agenda: 3 days of concerts, as well as entertainment and relaxation in the various dedicated areas.
Once again this year, Visa will equip all festival points of sale with contactless payment terminals, so festival-goers won’t waste time between 2 concerts.
How it works: People equipped with a contactless Visa card will benefit from priority queues in various areas (cloakrooms, catering areas, bars) as well as a Pitchfork Photobooth souvenir photo, and will be able to make their payments in less than a second.
And if you’re wondering what contactless payment is, know that in France over the last 12 months, more than 100 million contactless transactions have been made for more than one billion euros (yes, actually, I didn’t know that either…).
You can now even pay with a contactless card on some Grenoble buses for a few weeks now!
The festival tip: an opening night on October 27th with an itinerant route from 7:00 PM to midnight, featuring 10 talents split between the Café de la Danse, La Mécanique Ondulatoire, and the Badaboum, with a single ticket for the whole evening!
