I don’t talk about music on the blog very often, but when I have a favorite, I just have to share it with you. Besides, it’s a great time, during these holiday periods and therefore for some of you a vacation, to take the time to discover an artist.

Indeed, I was totally won over by James Arthur‘s first album and his powerful voice with its rather catchy timbre.

He is apparently one of the rising stars of current pop music (well, I’m no expert in the field, but I trust the professionals).

James Arthur’s style is a mix of gospel influences, rap, and hip-hop to create what he calls from his own point of view Urban Pop (a nice label).

the singer grew up in Middlesbrough, in the northeast of England, and he was revealed to the public during the X Factor show, which he won in 2012.

On this album, he worked with heavy hitters in the music industry like Da Internz, Salaam Remi, Mike Dean, TMS, and Naughty Boy.
