This year, the 3rd edition of the Parisian Water and Cinema Encounters will be held from March 22 to 25, 2012 at the Pavillon de l’eau in the capital’s 16th arrondissement.
These Encounters are the annual meeting place for Parisians centered on water, taking place around March 22, World Water Day.
On the program for these 4 days are numerous free activities featuring a selection of feature films, documentaries, and short films, as well as meetings and discussions with film crews and water industry stakeholders.
For younger audiences, film screenings and participation in children’s workshops are also available.
The program is rich and varied, but if I have one recommendation for you, it is to enjoy the screening of The Life Aquatic to rewatch (if you haven’t seen it, it’s not even an option, you have to run to see it!) this incredible Wes Anderson film. The screening of the film will take place on Saturday, March 16 at 4:00 PM.
